HOUSTON, TX –
A Houston promoter dropped quite the head-scratching excuse after a number of celebs were no-shows at his Super Bowl
party, which boasted “the greatest lineup during Super Bowl weekend.”
reports that the promoter for Super Bash blamed ISIS for the lack of star power at his weekend-long party in Houston.
, and Flo Rida were among the artists who were set to appear at Super Bash, but were visibly MIA. An Instagram account for Super Bash features a variety of flyers with photos of celebrities, including Floyd Mayweather, who were never present at the event.
In regards to blame being placed on ISIS, TMZ has confirmed that there was a bomb threat at a neighboring establishment.
Although a bomb threat was received, it’s been reported that the real reason celebs flaked was because of money, which the promoter had a severe lack of.
Despite charging from $75 to $5,000 for ticket packages, the promoter allegedly did not have enough to pay celebrity guests and vendors, so they hastily chucked the deuces.
